We enable people to obtain sublimely impressive achievements in long-distance cycling - by cycling every inch between far-flung destinations. For most people, just finishing or “bagging” one of our Mad Dogs is enough, however for others, registering a target time for the Hall of Fame is a key part of the challenge. Our challenges fit into 1-8 days; a week of vacation or less. A Mad Dog is a unique, gritty challenge and although most find it is extremely enjoyable, fun is not in itself the main object. We want you to accomplish something wonderful. To successfully complete, you must cycle the whole distance. Every. Last. Metre. You cycle for 150-210km each day straight (there will be no more than one 200km+ day), for the length of the challenge and the feeling of freedom and exhilaration as you cross these exotic Asian lands is both intimate and electrifying. Cycling is the best way to see any country and the tingling sense of achievement at the end is addictive. The role of our support and organisation is enabling and empowering. We will take care of your luggage (while you are in the saddle), your hotels and support will be there very quickly for you if things go wrong, so all you need to worry about is the cycling...but you will not be nannied and shepherded. Your hand will not be held but support will be there if anything goes wrong. A Mad Dog is an adventure challenge event and not strictly a cycling tour. You will eat, breathe and sleep cycling for the entirety of the event - for up to 7 or 8 days straight, using nearly all daylight hours. You couldn't possibly pack any more action into your week. When you add this to the variety of the places, tastes, and people you see, after only a week you'll probably feel you have been away for a month.
