ICR Global is a professional corporate security company specializing in IPR enforcement. ICR Global Asia was formed in 1998 by its founder and CEO Mr Peter David Alcock, as part of the existing ICR Global network, along side sister companies in Africa which were launched in 2003. Originally based in China, ICR Asia protects its clients copyright and brand interests in the local market place, as well as targeting larger export infringements by conducting seizures around the globe. As part of an expansion strategy, in December 2012, ICR Global Asia's offices were relocated to Hong Kong and a permanent residing director of operations was appointed. These changes allowed ICR to cover new territories within Asia, as well as provide its clients with cost effective investigation and enforcement actions, thus reducing travel time to other regions and allowing the company the ability to offer a new range of services to its brand holders. Since these changes, ICR has completed hundreds of enforcement actions and seizures in multiple regions and countries on behalf of its clients, as well as providing specialist training for the Chinese, Hong Kong and Thai customs. With a team of professionally trained investigators permanently based in Hong Kong, ICR is able to deploy staff to any region within Asia, within 24 hours of receiving a client request.
