Headquartered in Hong Kong, C&G Environmental Protection Holdings Limited (“C&G”) is a listed company on the main board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) since April 2005. As a leading player in the Waste-to-Energy (“WTE”) sector, C&G engages in the investment, operation and maintenance of incineration power plants for municipal solid waste (“MSW”) under Build-Operate-Transfer (“BOT”) concessions in China and SE Asia. Under the BOT scheme, C&G's revenue comes from waste treatment fee and sale of electricity generated. C&G has nine WTE projects in China, of which five are operating in Jinjiang, Huian, Huangshi, Anxi and Fuqing with a total daily capacity of 4500 tonnes. The other four projects in Langfang, Jianyang, Xiaogan and Nanping are under construction. By end of 2013, C&G will have a total daily capacity of 7,400 tonnes. C&G also operates a sludge treatment plant in Jinjiang. C&G is anticipated to benefit from the ambitious plans laid down by the Central Government of China to promote the use of renewable energy through its environmentally friendly WTE solutions. Meanwhile, C&G is also targeting Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. C&G regards protecting natural resources and urban living environment as the company’s corporate social responsibility.
