Our 1st men's team City Quakes won the Double Champion (League Champ + Grand Champ) in the Championship Division in 2016. Our women's 1st team, City Sparkles is one of the 8 Premiership Teams in HK, playing in HK's top division. Originated from CityU in 2000, one of our club's missions is to contribute back to Tertiary Rugby in HK. With more than 15 years of history, our annual Tertiary Rugby Tournament has become one of the biggest event in HK's tertiary rugby calendar. In 2017, we have over 400 participants from 8 men's and 8 women's tertiary rugby teams participated in the 15-a-side and 10-a-side 2-day tournaments at Happy Valley. In 2016, with the tremendous support of our sponsors, our 1st City President Scholarship Program selected 4 local rugby talents to attend 2-week professional trainings in Bay of Plenty Rugby Union in New Zealand. In the program, our scholars participated in the high intensity trainings with the Miter 10 Cup team, BOP Steamers. Off the field, a test match of All Blacks Vs Argentina Pumas was arranged for the teenagers' to maximise their experience of the rugby culture. Recently, one of our scholars, Agnes Tse was selected to the 2018 Hong Kong Sevens squad, and have her first debut in the national stage. In 2018, Tainan CJCU has become a partner of our Exchange Program to provide different learning environments for teenagers in both HK and Tainan.
