Women in Law Hong Kong (WILHK) is a new and exciting legal community that provides a networking platform for private practice lawyers, in-house counsel and other legal professionals in Hong Kong. Membership is open to both men and women to encourage a diverse exchange of ideas and collaboration toward the development of women in the legal industry. WILHK is one of the first networks established to integrate women in all legal sectors operating as an umbrella network for women engaged in the Hong Kong legal profession. WILHK was established with the mission to: - Provide a networking platform for women in the legal profession; - Encourage collaboration, integration and education amongst law firms and in-house counsel in Hong Kong; - Foster the development and retention of women in the legal profession; - Bring to the forefront of the industry issues affecting women working in the legal profession in Hong Kong. WILHK is supported by a number of Hong Kong’s leading law firms and aims to grow into one of the largest legal networks in Hong Kong. Through networking events, mentorship programs, training and the promotion of best practices, we aim to provide leadership opportunities, collaboration, education, exchange of ideas, friendship and mutual support amongst members. Our ultimate endeavour is to empower our members and facilitate the development and retention of women at all levels of the legal profession. WILHK is registered as a society.
