Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve, a project we developed and manage, was the first REDD+ forest-carbon project in the world to receive triple-gold validation under the Climate Community and Biodiversity Alliance Standard (CCBA). The project was established to protect around 65,000 ha of peat swamp forest in Central Kalimantan, much of which was destined for conversion to oil palm plantations before the establishment of the reserve and is now managed as an Ecosystem Restoration Concession. We work closely with the community and as a REDD+ project, we help them achieve economic stability. At InfiniteEARTH, our ultimate mission is to move the world from an unsustainable extractive economy to a sustainable replacement economy by changing the way the world views the consumption and pricing of goods and services. This starts by helping companies find creative ways of engaging their customers in the process of sustainability. In doing so, the connection between corporate and customer values are reinforced and brand affinity enhanced. Our efforts to reduce consumption will never completely eliminate the heavy demands we place on the planet. But we can compensate through replacement with environmental offset initiatives. InfiniteEARTH develops and manages tropical conservation land banks and provides environmental offsets and private-label CSR solutions to companies across the globe. As a pioneer in environmental mitigation credits from Tropical Conservation Land Banking, InfiniteEARTH developed and actively manages the largest privately funded tropical wetlands conservation bank in Indonesia, the largest privately funded orangutan reserve in the world and has in excess of USD $600 million in natural capital assets under management.
