The company was founded in 2016 based on a patented ultrasound-mediated ocular drug delivery technology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. With safety and feasibility well-demonstrated in pre-clinical studies, the technology non-invasively delivers large molecules to the posterior eye segment through the sclera.
