From that time our business strategy has been one of sales and service in our big neighbour to the north – China. We have grown with that plan and today have branches in Dongguan, Guangzhou, Xieman, Shanghai, Wuhan, Tianjin and Qingdao. We have not been alone in this expansion, having continually allied ourselves with established, well-known international plastics material producers; famous brand names such as KRAIBURG TPE, Lanxess, Covestro, Celanese and INEOS styrolution. Of particular note is our successful relationship with KRAIBURG TPE GmbH, a major thermoplastic elastomers producer based in Germany and a leading supplier across Europe. Milton Plastics has been their exclusive distributor in China since 1997. Mutual benefit, trust and development grew to the point where a joint venture was the natural next step. In March, 2004, KRAIBURG TPE China Company Ltd. was set up in Hong Kong – a great example of our commitment to long-term cooperation with leaders in our field. Our credentials now boast many other similar strategic partnerships. With them we can offer over 60 types of different high-quality, high-performance polymers. This broad diversification has allowed us to steadily grow into a wider and wider range of value-added product categories.
